Starting this company has been somewhat of a whirlwind, but I have been getting cake orders on a regular and somewhat frantic basis, and I figured that I would jump right in and make it happen (bake it happen?) ~~ and make people smile as a business, it sounds like a win-win situation to me! I started up by purely word-of-mouth sales - and happy clients are the best repeat customers and referrals.

Currently the majority of my cakes are done with decorated fondant - not the bland "wedding cake" fondant that people seem to think of as somewhat tasteless and like to shy away from, but yummy vanilla or chocolate fondant that melts in your mouth.

Something special we provide for our littlest fans - All cakes ordered for 1st Birthdays receive a free "tear into" cake - I make a "cake cake" for the party covered with fondant to look super cool that matches the theme, invitation, etc., but I also make a special 6" frosted cake to "match" the bigger cake that the little munchkin can tear into (frosted only, no sprinkles or anything that they could possibly choke on) ... that way, they have their very own cake and they won't get tangled in fondant trying to eat/smear/smoosh, and they can enjoy their first birthday cake - even if you go with the smaller cake and/or cupcake route for the party, the "tear into" cake comes in the pricing for 1st birthdays regardless.

Cake Prices start at $75 for a 12" fondant covered cake. Prices will vary and may increase due to the intricacies and individual attention that is given to each cake.

As a special bonus, all of these artfully decorated cakes are placed on custom "scrapbook" paper that matches the theme of the party (opposed to the cheesy silver, gold or white foil paper).

Please allow 5 days before the event for ordering cakes.

WE ALSO DO CUPCAKES! These are mostly requested by the kiddos as well as from the moms in playgroups. These little cakes of heaven can be topped with candies, fondant, icing, good ol' sprinkles, crushed oreos (dirt), crushed grahams (sand), heath bars, etc - or really anything that fits your theme. Cupcake prices are $24 per dozen.

JUST ADDED!! MINI CUPCAKES ...POP-ABLES - $24 for 48 mini cupcakes, same toppings and decorations as the larger "standard" cupcakes, only smaller. These little gems are made without the paper cups for easy popping into your mouth, and are the current hit with moms with toddlers (the adults like 'em too). No messy cupcake papers to peel off and hand off and pick up after the party.

For orders of 5 dozen or more cupcakes, please allow 5 days notice before event.

Payment/deposit is due upon ordering to secure a slot on our "cake calendar". Delivery fees will be charged when applicable. Payments are to be made in cash, check or PayPal. With Paypal, our cake clients can pay online with either a check or a credit/debit card. All PayPal cake invoices will have an additional surcharge of $3 per transaction, as we are charged this fee to accept payments online. (Example= if price is $85, the invoice will total $88 and surcharge will be noted on invoice.) If you do not have a PayPal account but would like to pay us online, it is as easy as 1-2-3 in setting up your account - Once you receive your requested invoice via email from Patty Cakes, click on the link from PayPal and follow the simple steps in setting up a PayPal account!
